as in really really good.
two nights ago i was in shepherds bush sat on the street discussing bob dylan with a stranger and Patti walks out of a car and is taking our picture and saying 'hi everybody' in shy new jersey drawl.
fact.
we were queued outside the empire where she'd be playing a birthday celebration for Arthur Rimbaud like 4 hours later but it was nothin short of miraculous.
i was incredibly starstruck and didn't manage to say anything further than 'thankyou' and :wOw and <
the show was incredibly. she played we three, ask the angels, set me free, radio ethiopia, Land... aLOT of songs we hadn't expected... but that we had discussed in a ''well yeah that'd be great but as if she'd play that lol'' kinda way.
goodness she's the greatest woman ever.
and you should go to see a show even if you don't believe it.
right now i'm still waiting for the bootlegs.... :/
the rest of the london trip was brilliant too, went to camden alot. saw the louise bourgeois exhibition at the TATE which was stunning. and got to visit some of my favourite works there.
now im back and we have a week off where i hopefully will see some of you, and perhaps get some work done.
since seeing Patti again i've grown a real need for artistry, started writing poetry gain.. not going to fail art exams this time...
SO
i would really like anyone who would like a chat to do so with me sometime in interview style and then we can post it here. because, after reading piles of i-D etcetera on the tube over the weekend, i've come to believe that everyone's got somethingi nteresting going on inside them.
and then we'd write these up and post them or whatever.
i don't think there's anyone who shouldn't be interviewed, seeing the crap that's interviewed somedays.
i'm also going to write down things which i think are very obvious..[like so.. ]
cause one day i'll stumble along something revolucionary. how could someone watch like keith richards and jean seberg, and see someone like Patti be able to comunicate that, whilst remaining faithfull to every part of her being and commitments, and not have something good to say.
SO , if you'd like to interview me, or me to interview you, etc
message me, call me etc
ILLUMINATIONS.
xxxxxx

The list of authors you admire is so beat and similar to my own tastes. Do you read Ginsberg?
